I got to talking with a Creative I know about how hard it is for new media agencies to put together campaigns to sell digital inventory. He mentioned that his client AT&T was having that exact problem. So we sat down and mapped out what it would look like if the AT&T sales team could put together campaigns in real time grabbing metrics like industry verticals and demos.
Automation is key
AT&T has a user base of about 92 million people. That's a hell of a user base to segment for ad delivery. I designed a tablet app that allowed the sales team to log in, generate campaigns based on the segment and show their clients potential performance (based on look-a-like campaigns).
